Government Objective  - Wealthier And Fairer - Enable businesses and people to increase their wealth and more people to share fairly in that wealth.

CRT Priority - Helping People Into Work

CRT Outcomes - Connecting people to mainstream opportunities as well as job creation and social enterprise.

  • Skills development projects
  • Training Programmes and ILMs
  • Community Re Engaging Schemes
  • Childcare provision
  • Community and Social Enterprises

 

Government Objective - Healthier - Help people to sustain and improve their health, especially in disadvantaged communities, ensuring better, local and faster access to health care.

CRT Priority - Improving Health And Wellbeing

CRT Outcomes - Preventative measures and healthy lifestyle support.

Example Investment Priorities

  • Support for new and existing facilities with provision for youth involvement
  • Preventative educational work and self help/self support projects
  • Sports and leisure activities, particularly of young people
  • Projects addressing substance misuse
  • Project that encourage active lifestyles
  • Football leagues for young people

 

Government Objective - Smarter - Expand opportunities for people to succeed from nurture through to life long learning ensuring higher and more widely shared achievements.

CRT Priority - Enhancing Education And Skills

CRT Outcomes - Providing added value, 'second chance' opportunities and filling gaps but not statutory mainstream provision.

  • Training schemes with accredited and non accredited qualifications
  • Vocational training schemes
  • Training scheme that enable the most disadvantage people to take up job vacancies
  • Educations short course/programmes
  • Re engaging schemes

 

Government Objective - Stronger, Safer - Help local communities to flourish, becoming stronger, safer place to live, offering improved opportunities and a better quality of life.

CRT Priority - Building Strong And Safer Communities

CRT Outcomes - Improving capacity with and within communities which support them to participate and flourish.

  • Support to set up local structures that enable people to maximise their involvement in community planning
  • Support to expand/improve local services eg. Capacity building support and one stop shops
  • Developing community networks and Development Trusts
  • Projects aimed at including community capacity and organisations development

  • Educational short courses/programmes
