We're Here for You & How to Apply for Funding
The Wales office is your first point of contact for any enquiry you may have about the Trust. We can also provide useful information regarding:
- Project eligibility
- Our funding themes and grant programmes
- Funding availability
- Other sources of support
The Development Team undertakes a number of different activities to promote the work of the Trust and to support groups and communities:
Project Meetings – a member of the team will meet with a group or the main contact for a project to discuss the idea in detail and advise them of the best way forward.
One-to-One Surgeries – surgeries are run from venues around the region, which enables groups to drop in, and present their project proposal and determine if the Trust can help.
Application Workshops – these can be organised and delivered to groups or development workers collectively to help them understand the application and assessment process and complete the Trust’s application forms.
Development Support - the team will support groups, where appropriate, through the application process, to ensure quality applications.
How to Apply for Funding
The first thing you need to do is contact our office. We will need to know the name of the organisation that will deliver the proposed project, where the organisation is based, what your project will do, the cost, who will benefit, where it will operate and an indication of how much funding you would like from the Trust.
Our staff will be able to advise you on the Trust’s priorities and the application process. An appointment can be arranged with a member of the Development Team to discuss things in more detail and to provide help with the application if this is required. We are here to help you at all stages of the project’s development.
