Applying for grant funds - England

England Grant Information

UPDATE (1st January 2012) - Coalfields Community Grants – Level 2 (Capital and Revenue grants between £10k and £100K)

The Trust’s Coalfields Community Grants Level 2 programme in England (2011-13) has successfully invested in many projects across our coalfield target communities.

The demand for both capital and revenue funding has been high and we have now closed the Level 2 programme to new applications . We realise this is disappointing news but we do not want organisations to invest further time in developing an application to the Trust that we cannot progress.

The Trust’s Level 1 programme (small grants up to £5,000) still has funding available. This may offer an alternative to you in funding some activity on a smaller scale subject to eligibility.

Should you require any further guidance from the Trust please contact your regional office - see Contact Us

England Grant Information

One of the major strengths of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust is the flexibility of our funding programmes.  Our aim is to help  groups respond to local need. Our regional teams are also proactive in developing ideas and projects that help people back into work, develop new skills, improve health and help communities access opportunities.

We try to keep our application form as simple as possible.  However, as we are using public money we will need certain information from you to make sure we account for the use of the money in the correct way.
