About GAME ON

In addition to increasing football participation at grassroots level amongst young people in coalfield communities, the project also aims to promote sportsmanship and encourage young people to develop a wider understanding of the issues that affect them and their communities, such as health, education, anti-social behaviour and other youth crime.

The national programme is delivered through regional plans which have generic key objectives but are specific to the geographical, social, economic and strategic networks in each of the target areas of the North West, North East, Yorkshire, East Midlands.

The Key Objectives for each region are:
