Football Coaching Sessions for BME Youth Group
GAME ON has recently provided a 9-week coaching programme for black and minority ethnic young people from the Wigan Youth Service group Rafiki Motswako. Held at St. John Fisher High School in Wigan, the 2 hour weekly sessions involved an hour of skills coaching from the GAME ON Coordinator followed by 5 a side games. The young people were also given the opportunity to discuss the different skills needed for different positions and lead some coaching drills themselves.
All the young people had a fantastic time during the sessions and are looking forward to the project starting up again soon.
