Working in some of the most deprived communities in the country, there are often opportunities to work with Councils and stakeholders to arrange for the transfer of assets, allowing us to create opportunities and generate community-based resource and services.

As one of few organisations that has the skills, local knowledge, connections and experience to manage this process, we can take assets that are often of little value and turn them into resources that add value and make a lasting and positive difference for local residents.

One such example is the Hub House in Horden, which became a community facility that local people are able to access and rely on. As a result of the Hub House, local residents explained that they felt safer and that aspirations in the community were positively influenced.
