Part Time post (22hrs per week)

Salary: £30,750 per annum (£18,283 pro rata)

Location: Tredegar

Working within the Wales team for the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, you will be responsible for initiating, promoting, developing and project managing priority regeneration projects for the benefit of former coalfield communities in Wales. You will also be working on a one-to-one basis with community groups advising and encouraging them through the process securing finance from a range of sources.

You will have a detailed knowledge and strategic understanding of the regeneration issues facing coalfields communities and will have experience of partnership working, enterprise development and community development. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work closely with people from a range of backgrounds to enthuse, motivate and inspire others to contribute more effectively to the regeneration of their communities.

The role will be varied and challenging, therefore you must have the ability to work on your own initiative and have the ability to prioritise your work, as well as be able to work as part of a team in order to meet workload demands.
