Coalfields YouthBanks is an established way of working with and supporting young people to help them create a platform to place themselves as key decision makers in their community by fundraising for and facilitating projects that benefit their community and make the change they want to see.

Currently we have 6 Coalfield’s YouthBanks operating in Scotland;

•   Dalmellington
•   Clackmannanshire
•   West Fife Villages
•   Cowdenbeath
•   Midlothian
•   Tranent

We will continue to develop and grow the number of YouthBanks within Coalfield areas, namely, Bo’ness, Blantyre and Dunfermline.

Due to YouthBank Scotland ceasing to operate we will continue to work with Youthlink Scotland and we will continue to support and help further developments within the existing Coalfields YouthBanks. Additionally we will organize relevant training opportunities for the young people involved i.e. Youth Achievement Awards
