Game On Wales ‘Energising’ Activities For kids that ‘love football’: As Wales’ most participated, spectated and volunteered sport, football holds an important place in ex-mining communities. Helping local teams grow is a key aim of Game On Wales’ football coaching sessions, events and tournaments for players of all abilities. For Women & Girls: Thanks to support from FAW Trust ‘Game On Girls’ encourages girls, aged 7 – 11, to make the leap from our regular ‘Turn Up and Play’ activities to registering with a club – bridging the gap between grassroots and the community game. ‘My daughter is 7 years old and loved the training session provided by Game On Wales. Girls if you like football here is your way forward, brilliant people, believe in your daughter and the sport - great to be part of something new.’ (Jarred, Parent, RCT) For ‘Lifelong Football’: Walking football sessions, in conjunction with Sport RCT, operate every week in Abercwmboi, Aberdare, Hawthorn, Abercynon.
