Job description

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust has an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and forward thinking organisation. Supporting the Employment and Skills and Property Investment teams, you’ll be an experienced and enthusiastic administrator, an organised multi-tasker with the ability to communicate effectively, able to record and maintain details accurately and be committed to consistently delivering a quality service. You should be able to work on your own initiative to problem solve, meet deadlines, proritise your workload and be able work as part of a larger team to support the Trust’s wider objectives.

This new role will be varied and no two days will be the same.  You will support teams currently working in our coalfield communities across South Yorkshire, so a driving licence would be beneficial to enable you to support them in outreach venues, as and when necessary.

Key duties include providing a point of contact, maintaining various management systems, answering telephone/email/social media enquiries, collecting and disseminating information, filing/scanning/copying, sending and receiving documents.

Organisation Profile

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is Britain’s leading regeneration agency dedicated to Coalfield Communities. Since 1999, we have awarded over £100 million in grants. However, we are far more than a grant maker and we are increasingly taking a pro-active approach to developing and investing in strategic programmes to address regeneration issues. In fact, CRT has always prided itself as being more than a funder often supporting groups and communities in ways that do not involve grant funding such as training, facilitation, mentoring, advising, supporting, brokering and being a trusted friend. CRT has a constituency of supporting communities, groups and partners which places it in a unique position to help communities develop community regeneration projects.
