The Coalfields Community Capital Grant in Wales can award capital funding from £500 up to £7000 and is funded by Welsh Government.
The aim of this programme is to support community and voluntary organisations, who manage community facilities, to access funding required to: safeguard; maintain; and/or improve their community facility.

The aim of the funding is for the development of services for people affected by cancer in the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board area (Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend valleys) where there is a clear evidence of need and clear, measurable outcomes.
The fund is responsive to various needs and supports both capital and revenue costs. Eligible applicants to include community and voluntary sector groups/organisations.
The fund is not intended to support personal costs but enable and test solutions to improve cancer outcomes and access to cancer support services at a local level.

The application process for the Breaking Barriers Fund has been designed to be as straightforward as possible. Simply submit an outline of your project idea(s) and proposed area(s) of operation via email to wales@coalfields-regen.org.uk and a member of our team will be in touch with you to help move your project idea forward.

The aim of the grant is to get more people living in coalfield communities in Wales (ages 13 – 19) to play and stay in sport. Sport Wales statistics highlight an alarming drop off of registered players during these teenage years.
CRT Game On – Wales Kit Grant 25/26 applications are now closed for 2025/26. Applications will reopen for 2026/27 on April 1st 2026.

As a new addition to our CRT Support grants, we’re now able to fund professional surveys and assessments to help organisations plan for the future. This new grant is designed to help you understand the current condition of your community asset, identify priorities, and build a strong case for future funding or improvements.

We are pleased to announce that applications for the Airedale Healthy and Sustainable Communities Grants are now open.
Joint bids (partnerships): up to £4,000
Single organisation bids: up to £2,500
Projects should aim to:
Tackle health inequalities in Airedale and Ferry Fryston.
Engage and support the most vulnerable or marginalised residents.
Address one or more of the five Core20Plus5 health priorities by tackling wider social factors that influence wellbeing.
We welcome applications from organisations and partnerships working in Airedale and Ferry Fryston.
Your project must show how it contributes to the Core20Plus5 health priorities, which currently focus on:
Maternity – Supporting continuity of care, particularly for women from BAME and low-income backgrounds.
Severe Mental Illness (SMI) – Improving mental health support and encouraging uptake of annual health checks.
Chronic Respiratory Disease – Supporting vaccinations and care for people with COPD and similar conditions.
Early Cancer Diagnosis – Promoting early detection at stages 1 or 2.
Hypertension – Helping people manage blood pressure to reduce risk of heart disease and stroke.
