Work Begins on the New CRT Knottingley Hub

Work has begun on the new CRT Knottingley Hub, an exciting new community facility delivered by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) which will provide a dedicated base for staff delivering vital community services in the area.

The new hub will enable CRT’s local team – who are already working in the Knottingley community – to expand their work and reach more local people. It will also provide a space for local grassroots community organisations to deliver services – offering advice, guidance and practical help to those who need it most.

Located on the Knottingley High Street, the CRT Knottingley Hub will offer an accessible and welcoming space where people can find support tailored to them. The hub will primarily focus on improving health and wellbeing, while also connecting local people to opportunities to improve their skills.

The CRT Knottingley Hub is due to open its doors to the community early in 2026.

Andy Lock, Chief Executive of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, said:

“We’re really excited to offer this new facility to the people of Knottingley. The CRT Knottingley Hub will enable our team, who are already operating in the area, to deliver a wider range of services.

Our aim is to make opportunities for people living in coalfield communities as easy to access as possible – and the CRT Knottingley Hub will provide the space for that to happen.”
