CRT Engage Meir Team Recognised for Community Impact

We’re delighted to share that our CRT Engage team in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent has been recognised at the recent Pride of Staffordshire awards, coordinated by Our News Staffordshire.

The team was named joint first runner-up in the Community Project of the Year category, recognising the meaningful impact the CRT Engage programme has had locally since launching in 2022. The awards are decided by a large, county-wide panel, highlighting how widely this work is valued.

This recognition reflects the dedication of the team and the strong partnerships they’ve built across the community. We’re especially grateful to Desiree Elliott, who accepted the award on behalf of the team and spoke passionately about the positive changes seen in Meir.

Delivered by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust in partnership with Meir Primary Care Network, CRT Engage continues to go from strength to strength in Stoke-on-Trent, with consistently positive feedback from residents, partners and stakeholders.
